Downloading the Duo mobile app
If you do not already have Duo mobile installed on your phone, use the links below to download (Android or iOS).

Enrolling with Duo
- Open the email titled "Duo Security Enrollment" from "Duo Security <no-reply@duosecurity.com>".
- Click the link in the email to begin the enrollment process.
- Click "Start Setup".
- Select "Mobile phone" as your device type.
- Enter your phone number and check the box confirming it is the correct number.
- Select "Text me" or "Call me" to receive the verification code, input the 6-digit code provided, and then click "Verify".
- Select the correct operating system of your device.
- When prompted to install Duo mobile, select "I have Duo mobile installed".
- Open the Duo mobile app, tap the "+" button on the top right, select "Use a QR Code" and then scan the QR code shown on your screen.
- Follow the prompts on your device to name your account, allow notifications, and finish the setup. You must select "Allow notifications" so you can receive the approval notification successfully.
First time setup for laptop/desktop
- When you log into your computer, you will see the following screen.
- Select "Approve" on the Duo mobile notification sent to your mobile device.
- After approving, select "Activate Now" on the following screen. This is important to configure as you will NOT be able to login to your computer if you are offline without internet access.
- When you see the following screen, open the Duo app on your phone, click the "+" button on the top right, select "Use QR Code", and scan the QR code on your screen.
- When prompted, enter the six-digit passcode from your phone and click "Activate Offline Login"
- Moving forward, if you attempt to login to your laptop without being connected to the internet, you will need to enter this six-digit code to gain access and login.
